Case Study: How VoIP enabled growth for an asset finance firm
A major player in the asset finance sector called upon Espria to upgrade their communications infrastructure. They needed a flexible and futureproof solution that would let them communicate across multiple locations and keep pace with their business’s rapid growth. Their current on-premises solutions couldn’t meet these needs. Out-of-date handsets lacked the ability to transfer calls, making it impossible for the business to consistently meet the high standards they aspired to.
Our solution was to implement a cloud-based VoIP with unified communications. We teamed up with iPECs cloud to set up a cutting-edge system that would allow our client to work in ‘hunt groups’ – a feature allowing a user to distribute calls from one number to many numbers – across their multiple sites. The unified communications element of our approach granted our client a newfound flexibility, with staff now able to make calls with their office numbers from any location. Additionally, field staff could seamlessly collaborate by leveraging file sharing, conference voice, video call and instant messaging capabilities.
Our client wanted to retain traditional handsets, so we set them up with the LIP-9030. A flexible directory helped handle high volume, and the business also saw big efficiency gains from the use of hunt groups to turn what would have been multiple calls into just one.
