IT Support to protect our Accountancy Client’s data

Hospitality Provider

A multi-site accounting firm was badly impacted by the lack of IT support the company was receiving from their IT provider when they got in touch with us.

Our client’s issues : 3 locations, 1 great concern over cyber security

We have recently partnered with a multi-site accounting company which has teams working in 3 different locations.

Historically, each site was responsible for their own IT services which had resulted in no standardisation of anti-virus licensing across the group – not even per site.

Nobody had any understanding of what cyber security software was running, active and what protection was actually in place for the whole group.

This was causing great concern over security and whether the accountancy company had effective IT solutions to protect the client data they managed.

Our solution : a centralised web management console

Once we had reviewed all of our client’s IT environment, we began the process of purchasing a single license to cover all users. We then implemented a centralised web management console so the leadership team of the accountancy firm had total control of licenses, sites and IT equipment. It also enabled us to provide adequate support in the protection of their IT devices as well as protect them from any potential threats to their data.

We ensured that Definition Updates were automatically pulled down as available and implemented automatic scheduling of scans for their cyber security. All of this means that their system runs seamlessly in the background and reporting from the console provides a consolidated viewpoint of all their IT.

By implementing IT security to our clients’ systems, we provided them the peace of mind they needed and improved their efficiencies.

The result

Our IT experts implemented a consistent approach to the IT environment of our accountancy client. Now, the company has the flexibility to add new devices to their IT network and is constantly protected from cyber threats thanks to our 24/7 monitoring.
