Cloud migration done right, not just fast

Moving to the cloud is simple in theory. In the real world you need to plan to avoid operations disruption, overspend and compounding existing issues.

At Espria, we help you plan, migrate and land in a cloud environment that’s secure, cost-efficient and built for the long term. So your migration sets your business up to thrive, not just to switch platforms.

Where are you starting from?

No two migrations are the same. Whether you’re leaving on-premise infrastructure behind, tidying up a fragmented cloud setup or moving from another platform to Azure, we plan the move around your environment.

On premise to Cloud

Moving from

on-premise to cloud

If your on-premise infrastructure is ageing, expensive to maintain or no longer fit for purpose, we help you identify which workloads are ready to move, build a clear business case and migrate without disruption. Along the way, we’ll also help you take advantage of the cost, resilience and sustainability benefits Azure brings over running everything in your own data centre.

Modernise Legacy Systems

Rationalising an
existing
cloud environment

If you’re already in cloud, but costs are climbing, governance is unclear or the original migration left gaps, we audit what you have, fix what’s broken and put you on a better footing. From workload placement to cost controls and security posture, we bring structure back to environments that have drifted.

Moving Cloud

Moving from another
cloud platform

Whether you’re consolidating from AWS, Google Cloud or a mixed estate, we’ll assess your current environment and plan a structured transition to Azure. You don’t need to rebuild from scratch. We map what you have, decide what moves as-is, what gets re-architected and what gets retired.

Hybrid cloud capabilities

Most migration projects don’t fail because of the technology. They fail because of poor planning, unclear scope or a lack of ongoing support once the project closes.

Common pitfalls we see:

  • Workloads migrated without a proper readiness assessment
  • Cost and complexity underestimated at the outset
  • Security and compliance gaps carried over from legacy environments
  • No clear ownership or governance after the project closes
  • Limited ongoing management once the project team moves on.

A migration is the start of a cloud journey, not the end of a project. That’s why our approach is built around what comes after, not just getting you there.

A migration approach built around your environment

It all starts with understanding your current estate, your business goals and your risk tolerance. Then we build a plan to get you there, with clear ownership and milestones.

01

Assess your environment

Before anything moves, we map your current infrastructure, identify workload suitability and surface any risks. The output is an evidence-based picture of what should migrate, what should wait and what should be retired entirely.

Plan with
clarity

We define the migration architecture, sequencing, governance model and costs upfront. No surprises. You know what’s moving, when it’s moving and what it will cost before the first workload shifts.

Integration across
your tech stack

We manage the migration end-to-end, working alongside your internal IT team to keep operations running throughout. Where you’re running a hybrid estate, we’ll plan the move in phases so on-premise and cloud keep working together.

Focus on
your business

We provide ongoing managed cloud services to monitor performance, control cost and evolve your environment as your needs change. That includes preparing your cloud for AI, including Microsoft Copilot, when you’re ready to take that step.

Start with a clear picture
of where you stand

Before committing time or budget to a migration, our Azure Optimisation Assessment gives you an evidence-based view of your current environment. What’s working, what isn’t and where the opportunities are.

  • Uncover wasted spend and underutilised resources
  • Identify governance gaps and security exposure
  • Deliver a clear, prioritised plan before migration begins

Built on Azure.

Designed for your business

Espria is a Microsoft partner with deep expertise across Azure and the wider Microsoft platform. Azure is our primary cloud environment, which means we know it well enough to tell you when a workload is right for it and when it isn’t.

We’re not here to sell you a platform. We’re here to build a cloud environment that works for your business, with the security, efficiency and sustainability advantages Azure brings as part of the package.

FAQs

Do you only migrate to Azure?

Azure is Espria’s primary cloud platform and the environment we manage. We don’t manage AWS or Google Cloud environments. If you’re currently running on another platform, we can assess your estate and plan a structured migration to Azure as part of our engagement.

How do you decide which workloads to migrate?

Through our assessment process. We evaluate your current environment to identify which workloads are ready to move, which need preparation and which are better left on-premise or retired entirely. Nothing moves without a clear rationale.

Can you work alongside our internal IT team?

Yes. We regularly act as an extension of in-house IT, taking on the migration planning and execution while keeping your team informed and in control throughout. We’re here to add capacity and expertise, not to replace your existing capabilities.

How long does a migration typically take?

It depends on the complexity of your environment and how many workloads are moving. Our assessment phase gives you a realistic timeline before any commitment is made, so you’re never working from rough estimates.

What happens after the migration is complete?

We offer ongoing managed cloud services to monitor, optimise and evolve your environment after migration. Most clients move into a managed relationship once the move is complete, which is also when we’ll often start preparing the environment for AI tools like Microsoft Copilot.

Do you support hybrid environments?

Yes. We work with organisations running a mix of on-premise and cloud infrastructure, and can help you manage that hybrid state or plan a phased transition over time.

How do you handle security and compliance during migration?

Security is built into the migration plan, not bolted on afterwards. We assess your current compliance posture, carry it into the new environment and address any gaps as part of the process.
