An opportunity to join a fast growing and ambitious sales team. Following a recent acquisition, the group has a turnover of £40m with 200+ employees, ambitious growth plans, an aggressive marketing strategy and a unique services portfolio in the mid-market. 

The Job

  • Salary up to £70k (depending on experience) + car allowance + commission (OTE – uncapped)

  • This is a new business hunter role within the mid market – (500 to 2,000 employees)

  • Developing Business in new accounts in any of our services: Cloud, Document Solutions or Communications.

  • Once closed, the new customers can be moved to the Client Management/Service Delivery Team for longer term management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop leads and leverage marketing and networking to create sales opportunities.

  • Develop and maintain a robust new business pipeline.

  • Conduct executive-level sales engagements and establish & maintain strong relationship throughout the sales cycle

  • Understand the business needs of the customer and articulate how an implementation of technology can address those needs.

  • Determine solutions together with the Pre-Sales and Architecture teams.

  • Prepare presentations, proposals, business cases, PoC’s and sales contracts in collaboration with the relevant teams.

  • Conclude commercial and contractual negotiations.

  • Manage client handovers to Client Managers or Service Delivery Managers.

  • Be proactive in developing & maintaining the required level of knowledge in Cloud technologies, Cyber Security and bespoke software solutions.

A successful candidate will:

  • Have a successful track record of ± 5 years in an IT sales role with complex product offerings

  • Be tech savvy and passionate about cutting-edge technologies (keeping up to date with market trends)

  • Be experienced in Managed Services, Cloud Deployments, Cyber Security, Licensing, Print and VoIP/UC is essential.

  • Have superb client facing skills to be at the forefront of taking cutting-edge technology and innovation to the mid-market.

  • Have excellent communicator and networking skills

  • Have the confidence to pitch to C-level decision makers

  • Be entrepreneurial in mindset and a self-starter with a hunger to excel without compromising team working

  • Have the ability to think laterally and be a creative deal maker

  • Have the ability to work under pressure in a target driven environment.
